VELUX
CERTIFICATION & GUARANTEE

NEW INSTALLATIONS

All new installations are certificated by us, as installed by a Velux Certified Installer. The certification is in no way connected directly to VELUX, nor is it Issued by them. The Guarantee will be specified on the quotation/invoice. This covers our works only, and not any existing issues such as: Leaks, Pooling of water and water drainage issues and poor installation of guttering. We also are not liable for any internal works if leaks are present due to the listed issues above. If a leak is detected around a window we have installed, and is detected during adverse weather (see our T&C’s for definition) then our guarantee does not cover rectification or repair. Rectification or repair would be chargeable. If our guarantee covers it, or we agree to repair, the extent of works is chosen by us, and any existing issues will need addressing or the warranty/guarantee will be void unless we complete the existing issue repair or see evidence of it being done so competently and does not disrupt or damage our previous work. 

REPLACEMENTS

All replacement VELUX are certificated by us, as installed by a Velux Certified Installer. The certification is in no way connected directly to VELUX, nor is it Issued by them. If you wish for a CERTASS certificate, then you would need to go through VELUX’s replacement scheme rather than through us. The Guarantee will be specified on the quotation/invoice. This covers our works only, and not any existing issues such as: leaks, pooling of water, trapping water and water drainage issues and poor installation of guttering. We also are not liable for any internal works if leaks are present due to the listed issues above. If you have current issues, you must let us know before ordering and deposit stages, as we will be happy to quote for this too. If a leak is detected around a window we have replaced, and is detected during adverse weather (see our T&C’s for definition) then our guarantee does not cover rectification or repair. Rectification or repair would be chargeable. If our guarantee covers it, or we agree to repair, the extent of works is chosen by us, and any existing issues will need addressing or the warranty/guarantee will be void unless we complete the existing issue repair or see evidence of it being done so competently and does not disrupt or damage our previous work. 

All products, including accessories, have warranty by the manufacturer and its the responsibility of the customer/home owner to contact the manufacturer directly if any issues occur. If we are required to liaise or contact the supplier, this may be chargeable. Issues may be, problems with electrical or mechanical openings or a broken part from use.
